The last Ordeal of 2015 will be held at Camp Bud Schiele from Friday August 21st through Sunday the 23rd. This is the last chance for candidates elected by their units in 2015 to complete ordeal and become members on the lodge.

If you’re a May or June Ordeal Member, you’re encouraged to attend August Ordeal, where you will find deeper meaning in your own Ordeal experience. We hope to see a large number Arrowmen to help with the myriad of tasks and projects necessary after Summer Camp season that keep Camp Bud Schiele awesome.

Friday, July 3, 2015 is the scheduled ArrowTour day for Southern Region Area 5.  The ArrowTour will be coming to Camp Barstow in Batesburg, SC.  More details will be posted here when they become available

ArrowTour is one of many programs and initiatives that comprise a year-long celebration of the Order of the Arrow’s centennial anniversary. In the summer of 2015, four delegations of youth Arrowmen will travel to council camps and Scouting events to bring the national centennial experience to Scouts, Arrowmen, and communities throughout the country.

The next-to-last Ordeal of 2015 will be held at Camp Bud Schiele on Friday June 5th through Sunday June 7th. This is the next-to-last chance for 2015 unit elected candidates to complete ordeal.

The Vigil Committee will be meeting at 1:00pm on Saturday during Ordeal. If your Chapter doesn’t have a representative – jump on it son!

We also need as many Brothers as possible to attend to help with a myriad of projects and camp maintenance that will be going on.  Please make plans to join us for the June  Ordeal.

Here’s a dew updates for this weekend’s Dixie Fellowship:

The dance arbor is not covered. Dancers need to be prepared to have no shelter from the sun of Saturday.

Please pack your gear so that you will be able to unload quickly and then move your vehicle to the dead storage parking area.

There is no dinner served on Friday – eat before you arrive or bring dinner with you.

There are no tents provided, so you must bring your own. The campsites are wooded, so hammock camping is also an option.

If you are judging an event, you will need to meet at the Catawba shelter immediately after the show on Friday night.

Lodge display will have a table provided, if you need power, let the lodge advisor know asap!

If you have decided not to attend, let the lodge advisor know asap!

Our lodge’s registration team will be on site early on Friday. Check-in with them in our campsite when you arrive.
