American Indian Affairs Kickoff 2017

Ever wondered what American Indian Affairs is all about or how you can get involved? Come to our American Indian Affairs (AIA) Kickoff this Saturday on the afternoon before Winter Banquet – January 14, 2017 and find out. Newcomers to AIA can expect insightful group work sessions led by our ceremonies, dance, and drum teams, while retuning members can improve their performance and help guide others.

The Kickoff will begin at 1:00pm at the First United Methodist Church in Hickory, NC, where Winter Banquet will be held that evening. The Dance Team is planning to meet at the Circus Hall of Cream in Hickory to eat lunch at Noon and you’re welcome to join them there. before heading over to the church for the kickoff.

Plan to join us to find out why AIA is such a huge part of the Order of the Arrow.

 

 

Winter Banquet Postponed

Due to the potential for hazardous driving conditions this weekend, we have decided to postpone Winter Banquet.

Winter Banquet will now be held the following Saturday, January 14th at the same time and place: First United Methodist Church in Hickory NC – Business meeting 5:00pm – Registration opens: 5:30pm – Supper: 6:00pm.

For those of you unable to attend now, and are not passport holders, you may contact Jimmy Arthurs for refund arrangements by Sunday evening. Failure to make arrangements will forfeit your registration if you choose not to attend.

If you are now able to attend because of the date change, you may register before Sunday to attend next Saturday, you may also register at the door, but please make effort to preregister.

Winter Banquet Weather This Weekend

Heads Up Arrowmen!

The forecast this weekend is calling for an 80% chance of snow with an accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. In the event that a decision would have to be made to cancel Winter Banquet, we will post the info here on eswau.net and on Facebook and Twitter as soon as possible.

That said – there are no plans at this time to cancel and we are moving forward on production of what will be an awesome evening of fun and fellowship for our lodge.
