Rule#1: Each chapter may only submit one cart.
Rule#2: Each cart must be able to carry at least one individual.
Rule#3: No motorized parts are allowed in the race or on the cart.
Rule#4: The use of any pre-made store bought parts are prohibited other than wheels and axles. Each cart must have at least 4 wheels and a maximum of 16 wheels. All wheels must be functional and touch the ground.
Rule#5: No weaponry is acceptable.
Rule#6: Carts are to be coffin themed and the coffin must be able to close.
Rule#7: All parts of your cart that were brought with your chapter must leave with your chapter. The dumpster is not a cart disposal.
Rule#8: Each cart must have helmets. Helmets are required for all participants. Even those who are not riding on the cart itself.
Rule#9: Each chapter must have 5 participants, one to ride inside the coffin and 4 pallbearers.
Rule#10: Participating in halloween costumes may result in bonus points.
Rule#11: The course may be on different terrain (paved, gravel, grass) no water.
The race will be judged by Bryce and the Activities advisor. Finishing first is not an automatic win. Chapters will also be judged on their finishing position in the race and their cart decoration.
