Where: First United Methodist Church in Hickory, NC
Cost:  $15 covers breakfast for those that stay overnight in the church and lunch on Saturday

What Happens Friday Evening
Friday evening is for anyone interested in talking about next year, no voting, just discussion about all things lodge related for 2020. If you wish, you can bring overnight gear and sleep in the church. Breakfast will be provided to those that  stay overnight – but we need to know if you plan to stay so use the contact form to let us know.

Why: LLD is an excellent way to learn how the lodge operates, the budget, and how you can play a role in making our lodge greater.

Join us for Winter Banquet on January 4, 2020 as we celebrate the past year of our lodge with food, fun, and fellowship! We want you there as we  usher in a new year for our lodge!

This year Winter Banquet will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Hickory –11 3rd Ave NE, Hickory, NC 28601.

There will be an executive board meeting of the lodge at 4:30pm and doors will open at 5:00pm followed by dinner at 6:00pm.

Cost is $17.00 if you register at least 10 days in advance, and increases to $22.00 after Christmas Day. Family members and other guest are welcome to attend.

Online registration is closed. You can still register at the door.

What is NOAC?

The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is a multi-day event that brings together thousands of delegates from OA lodges around the nation for training and activities. Events include training for programs, leadership and American Indian culture; competitions in athletics, ceremonies, cooking and American Indian dances; and exhibits on OA history, outdoor activities, and camping.

There are also opportunities to talk with national leaders, perform service work and a whole lotta patch trading! The evening shows are big production events that will include thongs like American Indian culture, award presentations, and lots of entertainment.

When is NOAC?

NOAC will held August 3rd – 8th, 2020. However, due to travel times, our lodge will be going the 2nd thru the 9th.

How much does it cost to go?

The National fee is $545.00 but due to travel costs and other expenses the lodge fee will be closer to $800.00.

There is a $100 deposit due next month at our annual Fall Fellowship – September 27-29.
