2023 Carolinas Indian Seminar

Eswau Huppeday Lodge is pleased to invite you to participate in the annual Carolinas Indian Seminar. This event will be held January 20-22, 2023 at Mitchell Community College Continuing Education Center, 701 West Front St., Statesville, NC. There will be Powwows on Friday and Saturday nights. During the day, there will be classes on a wide variety of AIA topics. Please mark your calendars to attend, and watch this space for registration details.

2022 Vigil Honor Recipients

The Vigil Honor is the highest honor that the Order of the Arrow can bestow upon its brothers to recognize their service to the lodge, to the council, or to Scouting. Recipients of this honor have indeed proven themselves to be unselfish in their service and devotion to the welfare of others. Fellowship Festival Events

Chapters will be divided into “bands” for the Fellowship Festival Events. These events will include Gaga Ball Tournament, Volleyball Tournament, Ultimate Frisbee, Lip Sync Contest, Bean Bag Toss, 9-Square, and Sling Shot Paint Ball. Optional events are Closest to the Pole Record Toss and Whiteboard Pixel Art.

2022 CIS Info & Registration

The 2022 Carolinas Indian Seminar will be hosted by Eswau Huppeday Lodge at Camp Bud Schiele from October 14-16. Instruction in Native American dancing, drumming, singing, crafts, clothing, and historical traditions are included. Pow Wows will be held on both Friday and Saturday nights. Food will be provided by the Eswau Huppeday Cook Team.

Registered Scouts and Scouters are welcome to camp but will need to bring their own tents. ONLY registered Scouts may camp onsite – there will be no exceptions.

All who are staying onsite must complete parts A and B of the BSA Health Form. All adults must have current YPT.

The cost for the event is $17 for Instructors, $21 for Eswau Huppeday Lodge Members, and $32.50 for Delegates.

2026 Dues Payment
